Kids Heart Challenge COMPLETE!

PS 20 students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge to support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association. Students and families raised a total of $3,774.95 for the American Heart Association in just 4 weeks. YEAH!

We're so proud of our community for their unwavering drive to help others. Together, our efforts have made a huge difference in the fight against heart disease. Furthermore, we have earned a $300 dollar gift card to use at US games for Physical Education equipment.

We salute all participants, and we cannot wait to make an even bigger impact next school year. Well done, PS 20!

We celebrated the achievement of our starting fundraising goal of 1,500 dollars with a teacher slime challenge. Our students experienced a tremendous amount of laughter and excitement by sliming our favorite music teacher, Mr. Hampton! We are grateful to him for being such a great sport. That was just the right amount of drive to get our students to surpass a second fundraising goal of 3K to earn a second slime challenge. They voted for our very own Ms. Cassimiro who has led us in the Kids Heart Challenge!

Thank you again for joining us in the Kids Heart Challenge this year.

For prospective parents: what does PS 20 look like?

Dear prospective parents,
We would like to thank you for your interest in PS 20 The Clinton Hill School. Unfortunately, PS 20 will not be conducting any physical tours of our school in this unprecedented pandemic crisis.
We would have loved to do a live school video tour of PS 20, but such a production demands time and money, two very limited commodities nowadays.
With the safety restrictions and the realities of the impact of coronavirus this year, the school is looking much less lively than it looks during a typical year.
So we'd rather showcase what the school looks and feels like during non-pandemic times, via these videos, which were produced in the Spring of 2019 as part of an application process for the DOE Reimagine Grant!
These videos will give you an "apercu" of what our school, students, and teachers look like in a time of normalcy.

If you have any questions about PS20, please feel free to call 718-834-6744 and ask to speak to our Parent Coordinator, Mrs. Karen Colon.
Be safe, be well, and we hope to see you in 2021-22!
PS 20 PTA
