We currently have four (4) full-day Kindergarten classes
but can expand in relation to enrollment.

We are a participant in the Diversity in Admissions initiative that sets aside up to 40% of the seats for low-income families or those in temporary housing.

If you missed the deadline to apply to Kindergarten, you can still add your child to the waitlist online HERE, through the MySchools portal.

Initial offers are made by the NYC Department of Education and not PS20 and are based upon a child’s position on the priority list below:

  1. Children who live in the zone with a sibling at PS20.

  2. All other zoned children.

  3. Children who live in District 13 with a sibling at PS20.

  4. Children who live outside of District 13 with a sibling at PS20.

  5. Children who live in District 13 and are currently enrolled in Pre-K at PS20.

  6. Children who live outside District 13 and are currently enrolled in Pre-K at PS20.

  7. All other children living in District 13.

  8. All other children.
