We need your annual contribution in any amount in order to continue the offerings of art, gardening, science, technology, community and family events as well as other exciting programs currently funded by PTA support. Any and all gifts are equally appreciated!
Our ambitious goal is to have 100% participation from all PS20 families for the 2019-2020 school year.The PS20 PTA relies on direct giving to raise money that funds amazing arts and enrichment programs for our children.
Every dollar you give goes to your child's experience and education at PS20. With your help we can build a better experience for all our children.

Checks, money orders (payable to PS20 Parent Teachers Association Inc - 225 Adelphi St, Brooklyn, NY) OR cash can be dropped into the PTA lockbox in the main school office.

In a new community-oriented fundraising initiative called, Dine & Donate, local restaurants, bars, and shops have jumped on board to help raise funds for our school's unique Green Arts program. GO COMMUNITY!
Whether you are a frequent diner or someone that only eats out on special occasions, please visit some of our community partners this holiday season to show them some love for supporting our school!
Our friendly restaurants Donnabklyn, Olea, MekongBK, Colonia Verde, Baba Cool Café, Café Paulette, Vino Bueno Liqueur will either have a collection jar available for donations or will ask diners to donate $1 per bill...some venues have even graciously offered to donate a percentage per customer check.
The campaign runs from Dec 5th-Jan 5th Serving ALL of our 500 PS20 children, Green Arts is the only art and gardening programming in our school.
GREEN ARTS PROGRAM needs seeds, shovels, painting easels, drawing boards, paints, brushes, and other essential supplies.

COME AND LEARN ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH FUN ACTIVITIES AND GAMES FOR KIDS, FAMILIES & FRIENDS
You will learn how to be more sustainable at school and at home - We will have food, smoothies and French cookies!
Our program include : Sewing tote-bags from recycled t-shirts with the one and only Mrs Colon; Making new crayons from broken crayons; Learning about our ancestors with an Anthropologist; Making environmental Art with Anthony May-Hein, a chandelier out of recycled plastic bottles with Cierra Ruddock and stencils for the STEAM mural with artist Valerie Hallier
DSNY will teach us to make compost and City Growers will introduce features of our beehives;
We will be learning about plant-based diet and its benefits for humans and the climate with a real Chef! We will be listening to Greta in the PS20 hut. PS20 Green team will exhibit their first initiative about climate change, where they explore the relationship between palm oil and climate disruption.
Much more, to be experienced with our friends from the Navy Yard, Garden train District 15 and District 13, STEMteachersNYC, EcoRise, etc.....
LAUGH OUT LOUD, your PTA put on the school calendar another family & friends night out YOU MUST ATTEND! One of the best fundraising events of the year - a night of laughter at the New York Comedy Club to support PS 20 PTA educational programs such as Green Arts and PTA assistants!

CALLING ALL PS20 BAKERS AND PASTRY LOVERS TO PS20 MOST DELICIOUS FUNDRAISING EVENT ! SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED BUT OUR BAKE SHOP WILL BE OPEN FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM IN THE CAFETERIA!
We will be accepting donations of baked goods. You can bake your own ) or just share your favorite bakery pastries & baked goods with us (please submit a list of ingredients to be mindful of people with dietary restrictions.
