The PTA’s Spring Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year, raising funds to support essential programs like Green Arts, Studio in a School, PTA assistants, and student supplies—programs that directly benefit our kids.
This year, we’re bringing the community together for a LOVE BALL for the whole family at P.S. 20 on Friday, May 16, and we need your help to make it a success!

There are so many ways you can pitch in to help make this year’s gala and auction a success—whether it’s helping with decor, food, auction items, or event logistics. It would be great to have at at least 2 parents from each class to pitch in. The Committee is looking for help with:
Entertainment & Music: We might have a DJ, but do you know of any performer? Can you help set up a photo booth? Have access to rental equipment?
Decor & Design: Are you creative with flowers or balloons? Do you know design or branding? Help with signage and advertising!
Food & Drinks: Have catering contacts for food ? Want to assist with setup or bartending?
Event Production: Assist with planning, ticketing, or coordinating vendors and volunteers.
Press/PR: Have press contacts? Help us pitch the event to local newspapers, blogs, or neighborhood groups to promote the event.

Donate Items: We welcome all donations such as apparel, jewelry, artwork, lessons, dining and entertainment experiences, special services, and vacation home stays!
Find Sponsors: Do you have connections to local businesses, restaurants, or organizations that might sponsor the event or donate something special? Help us reach out! Sponsorships can be monetary or in-kind donations (e.g., catering, auction items, event services).
